I'm just not sure which is better. I'm mainly looking for homebrew, but other stuff is nice too (PSP games). I just don't know what I want! I'm considering a PSP, GP2X, and DS homebrew accessories.

For DS homebrew... There are so many different terms... I'm confused! Anyone know anything about it...? Help!
I think this might be the cheapest homebrew I could go with, but how convenient is it? Would I HAVE TO flash the firmware? cause I like the DS startup menu.

PSP: If I get it, I'll be able to play PSP games too! But how hard is the homebrew? And would I be able to do things with the new firmware? or would I have to wait for it to be cracked or something?

GP2X: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GP2x There's the Wikipedia page for those who don't know anything about it. It looks really nice. :) But it's also around the same price as the PSP, so it's not cheap, and it doesn't really have games dedicated to it as far as I can tell.

I'm adding another choice! Someone on LL recommended this to me....
Pocket PC: I don't know too much about them, but I guess they're usually smaller than the GP2X and do pretty much the same thing. There are many different kinds, so I'm not sure which ones are the best and I don't want to spend much more than $200. In fact, the less I have the spend, the better.

I'm going to watch the Call For Help episode (402) you recommended on AIM. If I have any questions, I'll post them after I watch it.

I'm changing this topic to cover other homebrew and I'm going to add a poll too.
I bet no one knows which poll option I picked!

Damn it! I only picked that cause I'm lazy and don't want to click "show results" every time I enter the topic. >_>

<div class='quotetop'>(GrayFox;15029)</div><div class='quotemain'>Whatever else meaning...? :weird:</div>

I didn't really have an opinion on the poll, I dunno what I'd get. So I'm not sure what to tell you is better. Plus I know next to nothing about the subject.

Okay, Thanks Chris.

<div class='quotetop'>(Infamous;15035)</div><div class='quotemain'>I'm Fox sometimes...</div>

That's cool. :haha: But which one would you go with? PSP, DS homebrew, or a GP2X?

I'm going to ask LL what they think...

Eh, I guess I can say this. Go with whatever you need for DS Homebrew o_O I'm guessing you need some kind of external device, but since you already have a DS, just go with that dood.

I might go with the DS homebrew in the end, but I'm not sure yet. And I've been confused by ANOTHER option! >_>

Homebrew is basically... uh... hard to explain. Just go to the Wikipedia article and read a little bit. You won't have to read everything to figure it out.

And as for the Pocket PC idea...
It seems like most Pocket PCs are far over the amount I want to spend. I did find a few within the price range I'm looking for on Amazon, though they're used. I'm not sure what they can do that the GP2X can't though.

All of my DS questions have been answered! I'll probably get a supercard and superkey sometime.
