The rain outside, falling,
Clattering on each window in the neighborhood,
I hide in the safety of my room,
Where hearts don't break easily.
A recollection of the times i spent with you,
To few to make significance.
The way you smiled at me, the way you hugged me and held me close,
But i knew it was a fantasy, too good to last forever.
I held you in my arms wanting never to let go,
But i saw you slip through those arms, right through my fingers.
And i despise myself for ever letting an angel go,
Leaving me with a heart torn in two.
And yet i stand,
Unable to love any other than the woman who killed me.
I look up to the stars in hopes the heavens will send me another angel with your radiance and beauty.
Though not an angel can compare to the beauty of thee.
And at the risk of dying once more,
I shall love you,
Both now and forever.
For you see,
When you are left heartbroken,
You don't give up on that person's love,
Not just yet...
But is it my destiny?
What is my destiny?
Is it to be with you?
Is it to love another woman?

Am i even capable of being loved?
