So those that have played ME3, what did you think of the ending?

I have to say it was cool that they had 4 choices. I personally feel that most of the endings would not work or would not be ones Shepard would choose.

I mean there is no way he would choose the control option. Why? Because he saw what power hunger does to you and what it did to the Illusive man.

You look at the option of doing nothing and going back to fight the reapers. No chance he does that since he risked his life and the life of his crew to get to the citadel.

The other "new" option added was to merge synthetics and organics together. But Shepard in the same scene at the start tells the catalyst that organics have choices and that's what makes them unique. So I can't see Shepard accepting to merge all synthetics and organics into one. I'm sure he believes that every organic SHOULD have a choice. But if he goes on with this end, then he would be forcing all organics to merge.

So that leaves him with the last and most reasonable choice. Destroy all synthetic life. It kills the geth, which will end the quarian and geth war with the geth dying. It also kills the reapers, EDI and other technical advancement. However, they can recover and rebuild once again.

I also think the end where shepard is shown breathing... seems so fake. I mean come on the damn citadel exploded in space. He would've died instantly and if not, when he hits earth he would die from the impact and upon entering earth's atmosphere lol. I get fans didn't want to see him die again, but at the end of the day he HAS to die. All of the options for the most part will kill him in some form.

The story was great with ME1, ME2 and I think ME3 felt a bit forced and rushed sadly.

Overall what kept me going back to ME was the storyline and characters. An awesome game for those that have played it :)
