My XFX 8600GT XXX arrives on the 24th. XXX means it's overclocked to a safe and reasonable degree in the factory, if you're wondering. It's only a 256MB model but I don't play in any resolutions higher than 1280x1024. If you're interested in full specs:

If you're wondering how it stacks up compared to the 8800GT.. two of these cards SLI'd would reach the same level of performance, but one will play Crysis on medium, so I'm happy with just that :p

That's probably 5x better than this Intel GMA thing in my laptop <_< I don't do much PC gaming though, so it works well enough for me.

So this thing is actually almost as good as 2 video cards?

Nooo, 2 of these cards(retail value 130) are the equivalent of an 8800GTX 512MB(retail value 500). But I only need one for the games I'm going to be playing anyway, plus to SLI you need a specific mobo.

The 8600GT is basically 8800GT performance graphics and framerate wise as long as you stay in lower resolutions. It's meant for people that don't mind playing in 1024x768, pretty much.
